We have a formal Safety and Training Program including a substance abuse policy. Employee and subcontractor safety and well-being is a major priority for the management of Fullwave Tower & Broadcast. No project is so important that it cannot be performed in a safe and efficient manner. Our company's goal is to keep injuries to an absolute minimum; keeping in mind that we as a team are trying to eliminate accidents all together.

Fullwave Tower & Broadcast has an in-house certified Safety expert who, through research and audits, reviews and revises all of the company's safety policies in order to protect the company's employees and maintain compliance with government agencies. We also conduct scheduled and unscheduled site audits to ensure compliance in the field. In addition, we investigate all accidents and modifies policies and procedures to prevent reoccurrence.

With the intention of giving every employee an opportunity to become an expert in the tower industry Fullwave Tower & Broadcast facilitates in-house and outsourced training in all aspects of tower construction. We provide in-house OSHA 10 and 30-hour courses, as well as first aid and CPR.

Employee safety Training is conducted:

  • At time of hire

  • When regulations are updated

  • When performing non-routine tasks

  • On a regular basis

GENERAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 18 years of age or older

  • Valid Drivers license

  • Successfully complete physical and drug screen

  • Requires Domestic travel (nationwide)

  • Ability to climb heights up to and including 2,000 feet

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions

  • Competent computer skills

  • Ability to Complete Checklists and Reports

  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision

  • Great physical condition and stamina

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Minimum of 5 Years Tower/Antenna Service Experience

  • Provide Tower Service Industry Personal References

  • OSHA 30 Hour Safety Certification

  • CPR/First Aid Certification

  • Tower Climbing and Rescue Certification

  • Formal training in Radio Frequency and Exposure Limitation

Open Crew Positions

Join the crew. Crew members are responsible the construction of towers, performance of inspections, general repair and maintenance on broadcast and communications towers and associated antennas/subsystems.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

  • Promoting safety and participating in team safety briefings

  • Picking-up/delivering of supplies, tools, equipment, components, etc., via Company or rental vehicle

  • Constructing and erecting towers – monopole, guyed, self-support

  • Installation of broadcast antenna and lines

  • Conducting inspections including – high frequency broadcast antennas, antenna subsystems, tower and light inspections, and general environmental inspections

  • Performing general repair of tower lighting: strobes, beacons and obstruction lighting maintenance/repair

  • Timely and accurate completion of all files/logs/reports as required by management personnel
